Must do's in Dubai

Helikopter flight: from a helicopter you get a spectacular view of Dubai and its many building projects. It is without any doubt the best way to discover Dubai and get an idea of the megalomaniac spirit of the founders of this city. Don’t forget your camera!

Desert safari: make your citytrip unforgettable and go on 4x4 safaris to a Bedouin camp in the desert. First you witness a stunning sunset, and then you see millions of stars. All the ingredients are present in a setting of one thousand and one nights: barbecue, belly dancing, camel tours, falconry and chicha, of course!

Water fun: waterparks are one of the subjects of competition between the Emirates, especially between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Wild Wadi on Jumeirah Beach in Dubai and Aquaventure at hotel Atlantis, The Palm may no longer be the biggest water parks in the world, they will still treat you to hours of recreational fun.

Dubai shopping paradise: when it comes to shopping Dubai is a world reference. The malls are gi-normous. By the time you look at your watch again, the day has gone!

Dubai: Insider tips

Discover Dubai by night from the deck of a dhow, a traditional Arab sailing boat. While gliding across the water, you can enjoy a romantically laid out buffet.

On top of the world: once you step aboard the ludicrously fast elevator in the Burj Khalifa hotel, you reach the 124th floor in a matter of seconds. After this exhilarating ride it may be a good idea to relax over a cup of tea in the famous Burj Al Arab hotel.

Diving paradise: a 2-hour drive from Dubai you will enter the Emirate of Fujairah that owes its nickname 'the pearl of the Emirates' to its beautiful scenery and endless beaches fringed by azure waters…

How to discover Dubai?

To visit the sights of Dubai, you can travel by bus or taxi. The old town and its souks are best explored on foot. The transport by which you discover Dubai in an original way is by water taxi trip on the Dubai Creek.

Renting a car in Dubai, may not be such a bright idea. Let yourself be driven.
