Must do's in Prague

Charles Bridge: Karlův must, the oldest bridge of the Czech capital owes its name to the Emperor Charles V. This Gothic work of art with its thirty baroque statuettes connects the Old Town with Mala Strana. It seems touching them bring good fortune and ensures your safe return to Prague. The atmospheric lighting at night adds a romantic touch.

Prague Castle: the "Pražský hrad 'located on a hill is the largest castle complex in the world. Showpieces are the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Golden Lane and the Royal Palace. Take some time out your busy citytrip schedule to stroll through the lush gardens: definitely worth it and free of charge.

The Old Town square: this picturesque square is the most important spot in the entire city of Prague. Particularly the medieval and oldest still working astronomical clock attracts lots of spectators.

T-Anker: If you want to dine-with-a-view of the breath-taking historical centre of Prague, you are at the right address. Do not be fooled by the location. The T-anker restaurant can be found on the top floor of the shopping centre Kotva built in the 70's.

Pedal boat trip on the Moldau: the most inexpensive way to see Prague from the water, though you will need to provide the propulsive thrust yourself. Good exercise too.

Old Post office building: unless you are hunting for stamps to send your holiday postcards home, is not every day you enter a foreign post office building just for the fun of it. And yet, this time around you may fall under the charming spell of its imposing architecture.
