The Vatican: thé magnet for millions of pilgrims and tourists alike is an obvious destination on anyone’s citytrip to Rome. Admire the magnificent St-Peter Basilica and the Vatican museum which includes the famous Sistine Chapel.

Coliseum: the largest amphitheatre of the Roman Empire where gladiators fought lions or raced each other for their lives.
