Places of interest in Martinique

Balata Garden

This botanical garden is only 10 km from Fort-de-France and looks like a tropical forest. The visit of the garden lasts one hour, when you follow the indicated itinerary. The walk also passes between the treetops where children will have a great time. Available in English, the audioguide provides you with a lot of information.

Diamond Rock

A must-see visit! This islet rises from the waves and culminates at an altitude of some 176 metres. It is located near Le Diamant, a famous diving spot. If you wish, you can go by boat, dock and spend a wonderful day there.

Mont Pelée

This active volcano is the highest point on the island. An ideal environment for the experienced hiker who wants to test his calves. Splendid walking trails and panoramas await you, the volcano having been asleep for some time. Do you want to do something a little less physical?
