Namibia is a vast country with many attractions. Nature shows itself here in so many different shades and hues it will puzzle you and you will not want to lose one minute of your day to go and explore the contrast. Enjoy an extra day in Etosha National park and head deeper to the south for a visit to the Fish River Canyon.

Day 3 - Otjiwarango > Etosha NP East (270km/2u30)
Drive straight to Etosha National Park. On location you pay the necessary park fees for the duration of your stay in this beautiful game park. This is the largest wildlife park in Namibia and it is, thanks to its low growing vegetation, one of the best places to spot the Big Five in southern Africa.
Day 4 & 5 - Etosha National Park West (180 km/ 3h)
Today you drive across the national park from east to west and settle in your new lodge. Today and tomorrow you can enjoy spotting big and small game and with some luck all of the Big Five.
Day 6 & 7 - Etosha NP > Twyfelfontein (316 km / 3h30)
Those who wish to do so you can make a little detour to The Petrified Forest or the other attractions of Damaraland along the way. Your final destination today is the Under the Stars Keyi Yovikamba Camp, 18 km from Twyfelfontein. This tent camp, where you stay for the next two nights in half board accommodation, is the perfect starting point to explore the beautiful landscapes of Damaraland.
Looking for some ideas for a visit today on day 7? Why not admire the more than 3000 year old rock paintings of Twyfelfontein, the burnt mountain (Burnt Montain) or the organ pipes made of volcanic rock. P>
Day 8 - Twyfelfontein > Swakopmund (336 km / 4h20)

Day 9 - Swakopmund
In the morning you go on a catamaran trip to spot pelicans, seals, dolphins and even whales (June-November). Around midday you moor at Walvis Bay where your guide awaits for a 4x4 adventure. At the Walvis Bay Lagoon flamingos abound while on the Kuiseb River delta you are likely to spot some springboks. Day 10 & 11 - Swakopmund > Sossusvlei (300 km / 4h)
Start out at dawn on day 11 and drive to the dunes of the oldest desert in the world. When you visit the famous and popular Dune 45 it is important to arrive first to really enjoy its uniqueness. The last 5 km can only be bridged by jeep (extras to be paid on the spot). Do stop at the Dodevlei or 'valley of death'. before you return to your lodge
Day 12 - Sossusvlei > Aus (415 km / 5h30)
Aus borders the Namib and Naukluft park and owes its fame mainly to the diversity of bird species found here as well as to the collection of typical Karoo, desert and the Nama Karoo fauna.
Day 13 & 14 - Aus > Fish River Canyon (285 km / 3h30)
A visit to the second largest canyon in Africa and third largest in the world is the main reason why you go to this remote, rugged region. Over the centuries the 650 kilometer long Fish River has carved its way and produced a profound gorge in the black limestone and sandstone. Something to take a closer look at, no? Exactly. Enquire about guided hikes in your lodge for your additional day of exploration tomorrow.
