Good to Know

Age restriction: Only children 15 years of age and up are allowed to join on the gorilla trekking.

The trekking in search of the mountain gorillas has an adventurous character. Since the animals roam freely, you may expect that spotting the group of gorillas can take anywhere from an hour to half a day. A good physical condition, great stamina and endurance as well as adapted footwear are essential. The terrain can be difficult and slippery depending on the weather. The level of effort and degree of exertion varies from average to high. Please make sure you take this into account.

For a surcharge of €327/pp sharing you travel along the itinerary in a 4x4 jeep with more legroom and comfort.
