Or, why not take the ferry to Cape Tribulation, a small paradise that is only accessible by 4x4, attend a performance by Tjapukai, the world-famous Aboriginal dance theater company or board the scenic train ride to Kuranda, a quiet village in the rainforest. Go fishing on the deserted beach of Mission Beach, where the rainforest seems to merge with the coral reef. Or drink a cocktail in Port Douglas, a lively little seaside town. Upon arrival at Cairns your airport - hotel transfer awaits. Get ready as from 2 pm to 10 pm you participate in a Rainforest Wildlife Tour in the beautiful Atherton Tablelands.
You will drink tea at the renowned Lake Barrine Tea House, observe birds and butterflies and head to the best spot to see the platypus at dusk. After dinner at a local restaurant, a nightly rainforest adventure follows before your return to your hotel.
