We are seeking a skilled and versatile Webmaster to join our team. If you have a passion for web development, an eye for detail, and expertise in optimizing websites for search engines, we want you to be a part of our digital transformation journey.
As our Webmaster, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and performance of our website while optimizing it to improve search engine rankings. You'll be responsible for both maintaining and enhancing the website's technical aspects and implementing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve visibility.
Key responsibilities
Website Management
Manage and maintain the Connections.be online store, ensuring it functions smoothly, loads efficiently, and delivers a seamless user experience.
Regularly update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements in line with our corporate brand guidelines.
Content Management
Upload, format, and manage website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
Ensure content is up-to-date, accurate and aligned with brand guidelines.
Optimal User Experience
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize landing pages for improved user experience and conversion rates.
Implement best practices for layout, messaging, and call-to-action placement.
SEO Strategy & technical SEO Management
Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve the website's search engine rankings, traffic, and conversion rates.
Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits to identify opportunities for optimization.
Technical SEO management
Monitor, analyse, and optimize website performance to ensure rapid loading times and impeccable mobile responsiveness.
Carefully oversee technical aspects such as XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and schema markup, regularly improving search engine visibility.
Performance measurement & improvement
Implement comprehensive performance measurement strategies, continually tracking, analysing, and reporting on website and SEO performance.
Leverage tools such as Google Analytics and advanced SEO software to provide detailed insights and actionable recommendations, including A/B testing strategies for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Proven experience as a webmaster (3-5 years)
Proficiency in web development technologies and CMS platforms
Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and testing tools
Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
