Flights from Brussels
American Airlines will take you from Brussels to the US every day! In just 9 hours, you will fly directly to Philadelphia, from where you can travel to one of more than 150 other destinations in the US, or even Canada and South America.
Online check-in is easy and fast via the American Airlines website: all you need is your name and booking number, or your AAdvantage account. If you’re not feeling like printing your boarding pass, you can send it directly to your mobile phone! Online check-in is possible from 24 hours to 90 minutes before flight departure.
If you want to check in at the airport, you can do so at the self-service check-in desks or via the check-in counter (up to 60 minutes before flight departure). If you’re travelling with young children, you can only check-in at the desks.
If you’re travelling with American Airlines, your free baggage allowance depends on your destination, etc. The following rules apply:
Economy Class: checked baggage 1 piece for transatlantic flights; 2 pieces for flights from Europe to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, Brazil and South America. Carry-on baggage 1 bag and 1 personal item.
Business and First Class: 3 pieces of checked baggage. Carry-on baggage 1 bag and 1 personal item.
For checked baggage, the maximum weight is 23 kg a piece, except for flights to and from Brazil (32 kg). All checked baggage can measure up to 158 cm (l + w + h) a piece. Carry-on baggage can measure up to 115 cm (23 x 36 x 56 cm). Personal items that are allowed on board include a handbag, briefcase or laptop bag and similar items.
In addition, the following items can travel along in the cabin, free of charge: outerwear (scarves, hats, etc.), book or newspaper, foods to be consumed during the flight, child seat (FAA approved), pillow or blanket, stroller, diaper bag, duty-free items, breast pump and aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, etc.

Luggage for children
Children may bring 1 child seat (FAA approved) and 1 stroller (up to 9 kg) for free. For children travelling in their own seat, standard rules on baggage allowance apply.
If you’re travelling with special baggage such as sports equipment or musical instruments, special rules may apply. Many special baggage items can be carried free of charge in the cabin or as checked baggage, if they fall within the permitted amount of free carry-on and checked baggage. Liquids and gels
In carry-on luggage, liquids, gels, pastes and aerosols can only travel in containers of max. 100 ml each. These must be wrapped in a transparent and resealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity of 1 litre. One transparent plastic bag per person is allowed. These restrictions are not applicable to medication and nutrition for children and babies.
Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas is the main hub of American Airlines. It is the third most frequented airport in the world in terms of number of flights. Dallas-Fort Worth is located between Dallas and Fort Worth. The Trinity Railway Express will take you to both Dallas and Fort Worth from the airport. If you want to go to Dallas, you can also take the Orange Line that departs at the DFW Airport Station, between terminals A and B.
On the plane
Wi-Fi is available on some flights. You can check Wi-Fi presence on your flight via the American Airlines website. The use of Wi-Fi will cost you 12 to 19 dollars, depending on the duration of your flight. On the newer planes, the Main Cabin seats are equipped with power supply. Juice, soda, coffee and other non-alcoholic drinks are free, as well as beer, wine and meals on most international flights (including all flights to and from Europe). Main Cabin Extra will offer 15 cm more legroom, and you can board and disembark sooner.
In some of the aircrafts, American Spotlight in-flight entertainment will give you access to up to 250 movies, 180 TV shows, over 250 music and audio options, 18 radio channels and over 20 games, via your personal screen. On some flights, it’s also possible to stream the in-flight entertainment to your own device (tablet, laptop, phone).
Business and First Class passengers will enjoy a sumptuous meal service with snacks and a selection of diverse dishes. Through American Airlines, you can also book your entrée (up to 24 hours before departure). Business Class offers additional legroom, lounge seats, and Bose headphones. First Class features unique swivel seats.
