On the plane
Travelling with Turkish Airlines is first and foremost a wonderful culinary experience! In 2010, the Turkish Airlines catering on Economy Class flights was named ‘Best Catering in Economy Class’. In addition, the airline received the award for ‘Best Business Class Onboard Catering’ for the second year in a row in 2014.
Turkish Airlines distinguishes three classes: Business Class, Comfort Class and Economy Class. Economy Class passengers can enjoy diverse fresh meals from the Turkish and world cuisine. Moreover, you have access to spacious seats and a USB port on the new B777-300 and A330-300 flights. If you prefer some more luxury, go Comfort Class (only available on B777-300 aircrafts). You will enjoy a more extensive menu than Economy Class travellers, with fresh salads, dessert, fruit and a selection of cheese. In addition, you will get more legroom. Business Class travellers can enjoy quality meals prepared in the sky according to the ‘Flying Chef’ concept: you will be offered a rich selection of hors d’oeuvres, followed by soup and a selection of diverse main courses (intercontinental flights). Your seat will provide even more luxury, as well: it can be transformed into a 188 cm long sleeping space for excellent sleeping comfort.
During the flight, you can use the Planet digital in-flight entertainment system including 350 films and TV shows, 600 music albums, diverse radio channels, games and audio books (available on most long-haul flights).
