You drive along the West Coast of the US from California to Washington. Swing along the breathtaking coastline, steep cliffs and enjoy the experience for more than 1,000 km.
The most famous parts of this trip are between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Consider the Bixby Bridge that offers spectacular ocean views, but Hearst Castle and the Monterey Bay Aquarium are not to be skipped either. Indulge in fabulous cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles, enjoy the Big Sur coastline and wander through the Redwood forests. By the way, there is no shortage of culinary delights on this route either. Be sure to try the super tasty oysters and lobsters.
Are you up for a rugged coastline, sun-drenched beaches and a nice sea breeze? Then the Pacific Coast Highway is simply a must. The entire route takes about 10 hours, but if you really want to see something, the trip takes much longer.
