Travel documents
Valid passport / ID
Visa – ESTA – ETA if required
Driving licence + credit card (for car rental)
Vouchers & tickets
Printed copy of your e-visa if required
Flights
Make sure to check your flight details and check in online from 24 hours before departure.
Arrive at the airport on time:
Europe: minimum 2 hours before departure
Intercontinental: 3.5 to 4 hours before departure
Luggage
Check your airline’s baggage policy
Liquids in hand luggage: maximum 100 ml
Lost luggage? Request a PIR number before leaving the airport
Hotels & car rental
Hotels may require deposits, city taxes or resort fees.
Make sure to bring a physical credit card and your driving licence (prepaid cards are usually not accepted).
Insurance
We recommend travelling with good insurance coverage.
Note: coverage via credit cards is often limited and rarely includes full assistance.
Good news: assistance insurance can usually still be added shortly before departure.
