Nestled among the beautiful rice terraces of- by UNESCO protected- Jatiluwih, lies the brand-new luxury tent camp, The Giri. That is where you will reside in a luxury tent surrounded by rice paddies, primary forest, hot springs, ancient temples and stunning fauna and flora. The unforgettable views of Bali's volcanoes are courtesy of the tented camp.
Your tent (one of the eight available tents) is equipped with a private bathroom with a toilet and shower and is hermetically sealed to prevent insects from entering and disturbing your sleep. Stylishly furnished, the tent offers similar comfort to a hotel room. From your spacious private terrace with an outdoor seating area, you overlook the rain forest or the mountains of Jatiluwih and witness a spectacular sunrise.
The completely 'open kitchen' Paksis restaurant serves typical Balinese dishes cooked authentically with ingredients from the garden. All you need to do is enjoy these culinary delights; the views are thrown in for free. On-site you can participate in various activities such as mountain biking, jungle treks, night hiking, bird watching, temple viewing and cookery classes.

Day 1
Zuid-Bali - The Giri
Your guide awaits you at the airport or the hotel reception in South Bali for your transfer to The Giri. The tour through the Bali inland takes you past rice fields and small villages. After an hour you arrive at the Giri Tented camp where you check in. This is when and where true amazement starts. Take in the pristine nature scenes, go for a short walk in the area or sip a sundowner on your private terrace while the sun sets behind the majestic volcanoes.

Hotels & Meals
Indonesian cuisine varies by region and is based on Chinese, European, Middle Eastern, and Indian precedents. Rice is the main staple food and is served with side dishes of meat and vegetables. Spices (notably chili), coconut milk, fish and chicken are fundamental ingredients.

All Belgian nationals travelling on a Belgian passport (children and babies included) must be in possession of an international e-passport (electronic) containing min. 1 blank page, valid for at least 6 months at the date of arrival.
