TOURS
Australia
Australia's nick-name is 'Down Under'. The natural identity of Australia has been forged by 45 million years of isolation. It seems that the beautiful and diverse landscapes is reflected in the resilient character of its inhabitants. In 1788 England brought 763 prisoners to Australia, which acted as a prison colony. In 1852, 370,000 people landed in Australia in the hope to find gold during the gold rush. Today, the country is still blessed with minerals such as gold, lead, iron, zinc and manganese. Though the country may be geographically remote from the West, Australia remains thoroughly western.
TOURS
New Zealand
New Zealand consists of about 600 islands with two main islands: The North island or Te Ika-a-Māui (Māori) characterised by volcanoes and subtropical forests and the South Island or Te Waipounamu (Māori) also referred to as the "New Zealand Alps." Sheep seem to be everywhere, you can see the aurora australis on Stewart Island in the south and the beaches and rock formations of the New Zealand coast are phenomenal. Nature is breath-takingly beautiful and varied. The inhabitants, nicknamed "Kiwis", are therefore very close to Mother Nature and are great lovers of the outdoors.

Combining a tour of Australia and New Zealand
A combined tour of Australia and New Zealand offers you the best of both worlds. Although the countries are neighbors, they differ greatly in landscapes and experiences. Start your journey in Sydney with its iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge, then fly to Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city. The perfect mix of urban highlights and natural wonders makes this trip unique. In three to four weeks, you can explore the highlights of both countries, although a longer trip is recommended to fully experience them. When planning your trip, we take into account the flight distance between the two countries.
Exploring the Great Ocean Road and the outback
Australia’s famous Great Ocean Road winds along breathtaking coastlines and offers spectacular views of the Twelve Apostles rock formations. This 243-kilometer route between Melbourne and Port Campbell is a must. The contrast with the vast outback couldn’t be greater. Here you’ll experience endless emptiness and red desert plains typical of inland Australia. Visit iconic destinations such as Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kings Canyon, where you can experience Aboriginal culture. The outback also offers a magical night sky, clearer than almost anywhere else. The combination of coastal routes and inland landscapes gives a complete picture of Australia’s diversity.
Visiting Melbourne and Sydney
In vibrant Melbourne, you’ll discover a city full of character with its famous street art, trendy coffee bars, and beautiful botanical gardens. It is known for its lively cultural scene, sports, and excellent cuisine. Walk through cozy laneways or take the historic tram for an authentic experience. Sydney, on the other hand, welcomes you with its world-famous harbor, Opera House, and Harbour Bridge. Enjoy Australia’s surf culture at Bondi Beach or take a boat trip through the harbor. Both cities have their own unique character and are essential highlights of your journey.
Discovering Auckland and Christchurch
Auckland, the “City of Sails,” welcomes you with its beautiful harbor full of sailboats and impressive skyline. As New Zealand’s largest city, it offers a perfect mix of urban life and nature. Visit the Sky Tower for panoramic views or take a boat trip to nearby islands. On the South Island, Christchurch is a charming city that has undergone an inspiring rebuild after earthquakes. Known for its English influences, parks, and the Avon River, it also features an innovative container shopping center and a rebuilt cathedral. Both cities are excellent bases for exploring New Zealand’s natural beauty.
Exploring Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound
New Zealand’s fjords are among the most spectacular natural wonders in the world. Doubtful Sound, often called the “sound of silence,” is less famous than Milford Sound but even more magical because of it. During a cruise, you’ll be surrounded by towering cliffs, waterfalls, and possibly dolphins and seals. Milford Sound, described as the “eighth wonder of the world,” offers dramatic scenery with the iconic Mitre Peak rising from the water. Both fjords are located in Fiordland National Park and are best experienced on a day trip or an overnight cruise.
Experiencing the nature of New Zealand
New Zealand’s nature is incredibly diverse and unspoiled, making it feel like traveling through different worlds. From subtropical forests in the north to glacier regions such as Franz Josef and Fox Glacier in the south. The country offers unmatched landscape diversity over short distances. Walk through lush rainforests in Abel Tasman National Park, explore geothermal wonders around Rotorua, or hike through the Marlborough Sounds with their deep bays and forested hills. The Southern Alps form an impressive mountain range across the South Island and offer fantastic opportunities for hikers. The exceptionally clean air and clear light make New Zealand a paradise for photographers.
