Diving and snorkeling
Koh Rong is home to some of the most exquisite marine life, making snorkeling and scuba diving a very popular activity. There are several places on Koh Rong that organize snorkeling trips, taking you to adequate sites around the island. This is the best way to see some of the wonderful miniature ecosystems, corals, seahorses...
Bioluminescent plankton
Like the starry sky, bioluminescent plankton of Koh Rong is a magnificent night-time spectacle. Although this phenomenon is abundant around the islands, the luminous plankton can only be observed in places where light pollution is very low. The spectacle is truly incredible and well worth the diversions.
Expedition Robinson
A visit to Koh Rong is like taking a break in time. Here, you live like a Robinson, with your feet in the sand and no watch. It's an ideal stopover after a vacation exploring the region and its lush natural surroundings. Here travelers can recharge their batteries before returning to Belgium and 'normal' life.

Beachwalk Hotel 4*
Nestling among coconut palms, Beachwalk Koh Rong opened its doors in 2021 on Long Set Beach. This 4-star hotel is the ideal place to end a nature break in Cambodia. Its beautiful white sandy beach and nearby mangrove swamp offer great walking opportunities.
The Garden View double room offers 20m² of comfort, an 8m² private terrace, a queen-size bed, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a bathroom with Balinese shower. Do you prefer a see view bungalow? Feel free to discuss this with your travel designer.

By and large, Cambodian cuisine resembles Thai cooking. The main difference is the degree of spiciness. Combodian food is less spicy. Rice is the main part of every meal including breakfast when rice soup is often served. Amok and Lok Lak are two classics on any cambodian menu. Amok is fish served in a banana leaf spiced with turmeric and sweetened with coconut milk. The tasty Lok Lak consists of beef that is cut into pieces, salad, fried egg and french fries or rice. All Belgian nationals travelling on a Belgian passport (children and babies included) must be in possession of an international e-passport (electronic) containing min. 2 blank pages, valid for at least 6 months at the date of arrival. Climate
Cambodia is a year-round destination.
There is little rain between November and May, the so-called dry season, which itself divides into two distinct phases. The cool season (Nov–Feb) is the peak time for tourism – mild enough to explore the temples in comfort but warm enough to sunbathe by the coast. Humidity and temperatures rise slightly during the hot season (March–May), with Phnom Penh and Battambang seeing peak daytime temperatures of 33–35°C. This is an excellent time to visit the coast. Angkor may be bakingly hot.
Visiting Cambodia during the rainy season (roughly June–Oct) may present certain practical challenges, but it is also a fascinating time to see the country as it transforms into a waterlogged expanse of tropical green under the daily monsoon deluges (fortunately, the rains falls mainly in the afternoon; mornings are generally dry). Getting around (particularly in September and October) isn’t always easy: dirt roads turn to mud and flooding is commonplace. Not surprisingly it’s also the quietest time for tourism (even Angkor is relatively quiet) and the countryside is at its lushest.
