Not included

Your international flights, tips, optional excursions, meals and drinks and personal expenses and possibly Christmas bale or New Year's gala bonus. The price confirmation of these festive dinners will be provided at time of booking.

Hotels & Meals

Indonesian cuisine varies by region and is based on Chinese, European, Middle Eastern, and Indian precedents. Rice is the main staple food and is served with side dishes of meat and vegetables. Spices (notably chili), coconut milk, fish and chicken are fundamental ingredients.

Travel Documents

• All Belgian nationals travelling on a Belgian passport (children and babies included) must be in possession of an international e-passport (electronic) containing min. 1 blank page, valid for at least 6 months at the date of arrival. No visa required for tourism purposes not exceeding a non-extendable 30-day stay if the country is entered and exited by one of the following international air or sea ports: Soekarno Hatta-Jakarta, Ngurah Rai International Airport-Bali, Kualanamu International Airport-Medan, Juanda International Airport-Surabaya, Hang Nadm International Airport-Batam, Sri Bintan Pura Seaport-Tanjung Pinang, Batam Center Seaport-Batam, Sekupang Seaport-Batam, Tanjung Uban Seaport-Tanjuung Uban. Cash euros can be exchanged at most places. Credit cards are widely accepted as form of payment and ATMs are readily available.

Tipping:
Tipping is important and customary as it forms an integral part of the wages. Foresee €3/pers./day for your guide and driver and adapt according to courtesy.

Climate

East Java, Bali, Lombok and Sulawesi have a tropical monsoon climate.
During the rainy season from October to April you can expect a usually short but heavy shower a day.
