Take the road through northern Morocco, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, where the Rif Mountains shelter one of the country’s most beautiful blue medinas and where the imperial cities tell stories shaped by centuries of history. From Tangier to Chefchaouen, from Fès to Rabat via Meknès and Volubilis, this self-drive tour invites you to discover a more discreet side of Northern Morocco, often less known to travellers, yet remarkably rich in character.
Behind the wheel of your rental car, you travel at your own pace between whitewashed alleyways, monumental gates, Roman ruins, lively souks and scenic viewpoints. In the evening, the atmosphere of the medinas and your nights in riads add an intimate and charming touch, extending the experience with a taste of local life.

Nestled at the foot of the mountains, Chefchaouen reveals a unique setting where blue covers the walls, stairways and narrow streets. Take your time wandering between small squares, craft workshops and panoramas over the Rif.

The estimated total price for a Standard rental car, Kia Picanto or equivalent, through Sunny Cars, with an all-inclusive formula including insurance and unlimited mileage, is approximately €175.
This is an indicative price based on the annual average and on a booking made at least 4 months before departure. The price may vary depending on availability, travel period and booking date.
Private driver and guide
This tour is also available with a private driver, as well as with the services of a private guide throughout the journey. Price on request.
Travel Documents
Travellers with Belgian nationality (inc. babies and children) need a digitally readable passport with at least 2 blank pages, valid for at least 6 months upon your return journey. If you stay longer than 90 days, a visa is mandatory. For the most recent updates, we refer you to diplomatie.belgium.be and the websites and apps they bring forward. A valid driver's license (at least 1-year-old) and viable credit card in the name of the main traveler and driver of the rental car is also mandatory
Travelers with a non-Belgian nationality and/or persons traveling on a foreign passport are invited to spontaneously report this matter to the Connections travel consultant and shall contact their respective embassy (s) or Consulate (ate) to obtain the latest updates concerning all current travel requirements and documents.
