Optional Activities in Marrakech

• Artisan workshop
  Discover traditional craftsmanship through various artisan workshops. For a few hours, you will be immersed in a rare and authentic experience. Choose from pottery, basketry, leatherwork, ceramics, wood painting and carving, metalwork, embroidery, mosaic zellige, or calligraphy. These workshops offer a true immersion into Moroccan craftsmanship, allowing you to learn about the skills, techniques, and materials while getting closer to the local population. The workshops respect the artisans' usual pace and take place in their regular working environment, with a limited number of 2-6 participants. All workshops are private, ensuring that you won't be grouped with other participants.Duration: The session lasts 3 or 5 hours, depending on your choice. The actual practice takes 2 or 4 hours, including your introduction to the artisan, a tea break, exchanges, and photo opportunities.

Travel Documents

• Travellers with Belgian nationality (inc. babies and children) need a digitally readable passport with at least 2 blank pages, valid for at least 6 months upon your return journey. If you stay longer than 90 days, a visa is mandatory. For the most recent updates, we refer you to diplomatie.belgium.be and the websites and apps they bring forward. A valid driver's license (at least 1-year-old) and viable credit card in the name of the main traveler and driver of the rental car is also mandatory

• Travelers with a non-Belgian nationality and/or persons traveling on a foreign passport are invited to spontaneously report this matter to the Connections travel consultant and shall contact their respective embassy (s) or Consulate (ate) to obtain the latest updates concerning all current travel requirements and documents.
