Tour Uganda
In the footsteps of the Gorillas

from 3099

7 days – includes accommodation, activities, transfers, meals & guide

From the Wild Plains of Lake Mburo to the Misty Forests of Bwindi

Between golden savannah and mist-covered jungle, Uganda reveals an Africa that is both raw and deeply moving. This 7-day tour takes you along the tranquil shores of Lake Victoria, across the plains of Lake Mburo in search of zebras and giraffes, and into the misty mountains of Bwindi National Park, sanctuary of the mountain gorillas.

As you travel through the winding roads of the southwest, you’ll discover rolling hills, small villages, lush forests and endless horizons. Cross the Equator, observe wildlife in their natural habitat, meet the locals, and live one of travel’s most powerful experiences: looking into the eyes of a gorilla in the wild.

A journey filled with emotion and wonder, in the heart of a land rightly called the “Pearl of Africa.”

Good to know

Age restriction: Only children 15 years of age and up are allowed to join on the gorilla trekking.
The trekking tin search of the mountain gorillas has an adventurous character. Since the animals roam freely, you may expect that spotting the group of gorillas can take anywhere from an hour to half a day. A good physical condition, great stamina and endurance as well as adapted footwear are essential. The terrain can be difficult and slippery depending on the weather. The level of effort and degree of exertion varies from average to high. Please make sure you take this into account.
