40 years of Connections? That calls for surprises!
#Connections40 is all about celebrating, surprising, and creating unforgettable memories. For forty years, Connections has been helping travelers reach their dream destinations. From iconic city breaks and far-flung tours to bucket-list adventures people have dreamed about for years, we've had the privilege of being part of countless travel stories. A milestone like this deserves to be celebrated. And when you blow out 40 candles, it's only natural to treat others.
That's why, throughout this anniversary year, we're regularly surprising travelers with unexpected extras, exciting upgrades, and unique experiences. No big announcements beforehand, just spontaneous surprises that make every journey a little more special.
On May 21, it was the Lecarte family's turn. That morning, they arrived at Brussels Airport, ready to begin their city break in New York. Their suitcases were packed, their travel documents were in order, and the excitement was already building. An appointment with a secret
Behind the scenes, we had worked together with their daughter to arrange a special surprise. Before heading to check-in, we asked the family to stop by for a moment. Why? Only their daughter knew.
When the family arrived, we were waiting for them. What happened next was something they never saw coming.
One surprise leads to another
The first piece of news? Their flight to New York had been upgraded to Premium Economy with Brussels Airlines. More comfort, extra legroom, and an even more enjoyable start to their vacation. Needless to say, the surprise was a welcome one.
But we weren't finished yet. Their stay in New York was also getting an upgrade. The family will enjoy additional comfort at the Belvedere Hotel, ideally located within walking distance of Times Square and many of Manhattan's most iconic attractions.
Two surprises in a row. And still, we had one last ace up our sleeve.
A lasting New York memory
As part of their stay, the Lecarte family will also enjoy a professional photoshoot on Times Square.
