Selfdrive Portugal
ARTICLE 1: ORGANIZER AND PURPOSE
CONNECTIONS-EUROTRAIN NV, with registered office at Luchthavenlaan 10, 1800 Vilvoorde, organizes a competition entitled: “#Connections40 - Win your dream self-drive trip in Portugal for 2 worth €3,000!”
The competition runs from 17/04/2026 until 17/05/2026 at 23:59.
ARTICLE 2: CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Participation is limited to one entry per person.
The competition is open to any natural person aged 18 or over, with a valid email address and a residential address in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands or France, excluding employees of CONNECTIONS-EUROTRAIN NV and their family members.
By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.
ARTICLE 3: HOW TO ENTER
To participate validly, the entrant must:
complete the entry form correctly and in full
correctly answer the competition question
answer the tie-breaker question

Which historic city in the Alentejo, known for its well-preserved Roman temple and whitewashed houses, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site?
A) Lisbon
B) Évora
C) Sesimbra
Tie-breaker question:
How many participants do you think will take part in this competition?
ARTICLE 4: PRIZE
Participants have a chance to win a self-drive trip in Portugal for 2 people, including:
Return flights to Lisbon with Brussels Airlines, including luggage
7 nights in carefully selected accommodations
Rental car (all-in formula)
Planned itinerary with unique stops
Activities: visit to an olive oil mill in Galegos (incl. light lunch and planting your own olive tree), guided tour in Évora with a local guide, cooking workshop with lunch in Évora and a goodie bag with local products
The prize:
is personal
cannot be exchanged for cash
is non-transferable
is valid only for departures between 23/09/2026 and 31/10/2026
minimum age of main driver: 25 years
If the prize is unavailable for any reason, CONNECTIONS reserves the right to substitute it with an equivalent prize.
ARTICLE 5: SELECTION OF THE WINNER
The winner will be determined based on:
the correct answer to the competition question
the tie-breaker question (the closest estimate to the actual number of participants wins)
In case of a tie, an additional draw will take place.
The decision of CONNECTIONS is final and binding.
ARTICLE 6: ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
The winner will be contacted personally by email after the competition ends.
If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, CONNECTIONS reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
CONNECTIONS cannot be held responsible for incorrect or incomplete contact details.
ARTICLE 7: LIABILITY AND MODIFICATIONS
Participation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. No information will be provided by phone.
CONNECTIONS reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend or cancel the competition without compensation.
In case of fraud or abuse, CONNECTIONS may exclude a participant without justification.
CONNECTIONS cannot be held liable for:
technical issues
network problems
software or hardware errors
human errors
force majeure or circumstances beyond its control
ARTICLE 8: PERSONAL DATA
Personal data collected in this competition will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and CONNECTIONS’ privacy policy.
Participants have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and transfer their data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
ARTICLE 9: APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
This competition is governed by Belgian law.
Only the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction in case of dispute.
