The region offers a multitude of possibilities, from discovering the waterfalls to strolling through the monkey forest, via its market and central temple, where breathtaking Balinese dance performances take place. As the bustling centre is rather noisy, we chose a charming hotel just a stone's throw from the centre.

One of the three sparkling pearls of the Gili archipelago, located off Lombok, is a veritable haven of peace and serenity. Here you can only get around on foot, by bike or in a horse-drawn carriage. Gili Air offers a peaceful atmosphere that invites relaxation, while offering enough activities to delight travellers in search of gentle adventures.

All rooms are in small villas, dotted around the grounds of the property. They feature a king-size double bed, air conditioning, bathroom, mini bar, and a small balcony. The rooms also have Wi-Fi internet access. The rooms offer a view of the swimming pool, the rice fields or nature.

Double Room
De Umah is a hotel on a human scale, housed in a traditional building from the region. This charming place features traditional architecture known as "Asta Kosala Kosali" or "Asta Bumi". Each building has a precise location that corresponds to the spiritual significance of the place. It is built using the owner's stride as a basic measurement. The village of Bangli is also traditional, giving you the chance to live like a Balinese for a 2-night stay. In the evening, your hosts will serve you a range of international and Balinese specialties, comfortably seated in the hotel's restaurant, also built in the traditional bamboo style.
All the rooms have a comfortable king-size bed, typical local wooden furniture, a large mosquito net and, of course, a private bathroom. The hotel has chosen not to offer television to encourage travelers to spend their time getting to know the locals and the hotel's hosts.
Royal Regantris Villa Karang ***

A comfy villa & resort with easy access located in beachfront of Gili Air, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Standard guest rooms are 12 tropical theme single or double room accommodation offering a queen-sized bed and twin bed, a coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, a flat-screen TV and all our signature features and amenities. Besakih Beach Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Sindhu Art Market and a 10-minute drive from Denpasar city. The beachfront Batu Bata Restaurant serves a selection of fresh seafood, European and Indonesian dishes. Room service is also offered.
