Today you follow the Yellowhead Pass once used by fur traders as a main route across the mountains.

A rather long but interesting drive will take you to Whistler. En route you will discover the Cariboo-Chilcotin region rich in its diversity of natural settings.

Via the scenic route 'from the sky to the ocean' and the majestic cliffs of Howe fjord you reach Horseshoe Bay. En route a stop at Shannon Falls and Brandywine comes highly recommended. By ferry you will reach Vancouver Island.

Day 7

Tofino

On today's program the focus is on pristine nature scenes and sea air as you have the day at leisure to explore Vancouver Island.

Victoria

Departure for Victoria. Along the way you'll pass the small town of Chemainus which is renowned for its excellent wall paintings. The best approach of Victoria takes you down Mahalat Drive, a scenic route with views of the ocean and the islands of the Gulf.
