CONNECTIONS is looking for a Social Media Manager for our Support Center located in Vilvoorde:

We are seeking a versatile and creative Social Media Manager who can develop and execute compelling marketing campaigns across various social media platforms. If you have a passion for marketing, a knack for creating impactful campaigns, and the ability to bridge the gap between digital and traditional marketing, we want you to join our team.

As the Social Media Manager responsible, you will be a key player in driving our marketing efforts and brand visibility. Your role will involve developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that effectively reach our target audience across a variety of channels.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in social media marketing, and adapt strategies accordingly to ensure maximum effectiveness.

  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content tailored to target audiences for various social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and performance indicators to track the success of social media campaigns and initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.

  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, audience targeting, ad creative development, and performance optimization.

  • Foster community engagement and build meaningful relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates through proactive interaction and dialogue. (including review tool management)

  • Stay compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and platform policies governing social media marketing, privacy, data protection, and advertising standards.

  • Own the social content strategy roadmap and editorial calendar.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Experience in online marketing and social media marketing (experience in the travel industry is a big plus).

  • Experience in creating content for the web and growing a social audience (both through organic and paid).

  • Platform proficiency: strong understanding and hands-on experience with major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc…

  • Paid advertising: Knowledge of social media advertising principles, including audience targeting, ad creation, budget management, and optimization techniques.

  • Copywriting and Editing: Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive copy for social media posts, ads, and captions.

  • Graphic Design: basic understanding of graphic design principles and proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for creating visual content.

  • Excellent project management, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with vendors and external partners.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and French, and proficient in English.

  • You’re a natural communicator, confident in presenting campaigns and activities to different parts of the business.
